One day in Paris

Yesterday, the 18th of june, we went to the capital. At the morning, we visited the exhibition of Andy Warhol and in the afternoon we went to Beaubourg.

A great week with you....

Okay. I'm going to explain what happened in the region- langues week. In English of course!
So. on Monday, to know other people, we made some games, organised by the natives. The first was to say our names and continue the sentence " my name is Laurine (for me ^^), and I'm bringing " with a word which begins by the first letter of our name. I chose lollipop XD. Then, Dave, one of the natives, asked us to put one of our shoes in the middle of the room where we were. And when everybody had put his shoes, Dave took two shoes, and the owner of the shoes had to talk together. After, they had to introduce their partner in front of the other people.
In the afternoon, we played different games, together.
At 6 p.m., we discovered the dormitory. It was strange to think we were going to sleep in another bed, in the same bedroom as four girls. I spent the evening with the boys, because I didn't know the girls at that time. I went to sleep at 10:30 p.m.
The next day, so on Tuesday, I was ready at 7:20 a.m. I was very tired! I ate bacon and eggs for breakfast, like in America XD. (I saw this in a movie^^). In the morning, we cooked. It was boring because the girls of my group told that they were the best and they knew how to cook. So, I was alone, sitting in front of the windows, watching them.
In the afternoon, I learnt that I was accepted in the "1ere STL", I was very happy ! Even Lily, one of the natives, congratulated me. ^^ . The rest of the day, I played different games , in the park next to high school. When we returned at the dormitory, the bedrooms were closed! We were very angry because we were tired, we were smelling of sweat and they were very ugly!
At 7:45 p.m. , the warder, Sandra arrived.
On Wednesday, we began theatre, with Jiana. At a moment, "france 3" T.V. arrived to make the show, at 7 p.m. After, it was the celebration of flag day. We made a quizz at first. The natives showed many flags, and we had to tell the country of the flag. The winners were team 3, but I was in team 4. But we were second! After, we had to search the information about flag day and the history of our flag on the net. During this time, the rest of the group was painting the flag. Our flags are that of Canada and New-Zealand. (Joanna and Dave came from Canada ^^)
Thursday was the best day of the week. We went to Paris, And I love paris!!!!!!!!
At first we went to the exhibition of Andy Warhol, the best artist of the world. We split in four groups. I was with Dave. After the exhibition, I bought two post cards with a representation of Andy's pieces. They are beautiful!!!!
Then, we ate. It was the worst food of the world. (I'm sorry for the cooks :s) For example, the " taboulé' was very dry.... . After we returned to Grand Palais to find the Laura's phone. She was very lucky because a child brought it back to the reception desk. Then, with the natives, we went to the space invaders to find the places that the teachers asked us to find. it missed us one photo. It's too bad! For finish this day, we went to visit Beaubourg. The guide, an english guide of courses, spoke us about Matisse and Brancusi. It was very boring! At 6 p.m. the guide went quickly. Then we got in the bus and we ate in , because we haden't time for dinner out. When we arrived, the warders bought for us sweets and drink. It was very nice, and it was a totaly surprise ! After, I played werewolf with my friends, and exceptionnaly, we had more time before the curfew. At 11:30, I went to sleep, because i was tired.I spent a fantastic week with you, and I never will forget you ! I LOVE YOU <3 align="justify">Particularly, thanks for the natives, the warders and, of course, the teachers. I never will forget you too. Thank you very much.......

Paris trip

Thursday , we were in Paris . We arrived in the " grand palais " to 10.00 . am
First , we learned the story of andy warhol and the meaning of his paintings . After that we went to the exposition .
At 1.00 pm we ate in the park " Les tuileries " , then we did a treasure hunt where we had to find a cup of coffee , the M of the subway ... etc and finaly we visited " le centre Pompidou " , which is the second best comptemporary art museum in the world . Finally , we came back to school and we had a longer curfew on 11.30 pm fo the last night

A day in Paris

Yesterday, we went to Paris. It was again a great day like the other!!! We visited an exposition about Andy Warhol in the morning and during the afternoon we went to Beaubourg where we saw an exposition about comtemporary art in english. We arrived at school at nine o'clock thas why we have dinner in the bus!

We arrived in Paris at 11.00 a.m and we was going to the musuem of Andy warhol.First a woman explain to us his personality and his works,next we visited the musuem.At 2.00 p.m we ate to "Jardin des tuilleries" and before going to Beaubourg we done a little tour in Paris and we played to a game were it was take a lots of funny picture with my group directed by Joanna.After the game we visited "Pompidou" the works of Matisse.There was a good atmsphere during all visits and during the trip.

A great day in Paris!

Yesterday, we were going to Paris to see the exhibition "The Big world of Andy Warhol": it was great! I love Andy Warhol's painting because he painted very well, we believed the paintings were like photographs! But it was only on the morning then on the afternoon, we were going to the Beaubourg ("Pompidou's center") and we had to take photographs of funnies situations : Scavenger Hunt in Paris ( we had to take photography of a pigeon with Joanna, our native for example). After, we visited Pompidou's center : there were paintings of Henri Matisse and Max Ernst, sculptures... However, the man who prensented the art spoke in English so it was difficult to understand him. It was a great day in Paris!
