One day in Paris

Yesterday, the 18th of june, we went to the capital. At the morning, we visited the exhibition of Andy Warhol and in the afternoon we went to Beaubourg.

A great week with you....

Okay. I'm going to explain what happened in the region- langues week. In English of course!
So. on Monday, to know other people, we made some games, organised by the natives. The first was to say our names and continue the sentence " my name is Laurine (for me ^^), and I'm bringing " with a word which begins by the first letter of our name. I chose lollipop XD. Then, Dave, one of the natives, asked us to put one of our shoes in the middle of the room where we were. And when everybody had put his shoes, Dave took two shoes, and the owner of the shoes had to talk together. After, they had to introduce their partner in front of the other people.
In the afternoon, we played different games, together.
At 6 p.m., we discovered the dormitory. It was strange to think we were going to sleep in another bed, in the same bedroom as four girls. I spent the evening with the boys, because I didn't know the girls at that time. I went to sleep at 10:30 p.m.
The next day, so on Tuesday, I was ready at 7:20 a.m. I was very tired! I ate bacon and eggs for breakfast, like in America XD. (I saw this in a movie^^). In the morning, we cooked. It was boring because the girls of my group told that they were the best and they knew how to cook. So, I was alone, sitting in front of the windows, watching them.
In the afternoon, I learnt that I was accepted in the "1ere STL", I was very happy ! Even Lily, one of the natives, congratulated me. ^^ . The rest of the day, I played different games , in the park next to high school. When we returned at the dormitory, the bedrooms were closed! We were very angry because we were tired, we were smelling of sweat and they were very ugly!
At 7:45 p.m. , the warder, Sandra arrived.
On Wednesday, we began theatre, with Jiana. At a moment, "france 3" T.V. arrived to make the show, at 7 p.m. After, it was the celebration of flag day. We made a quizz at first. The natives showed many flags, and we had to tell the country of the flag. The winners were team 3, but I was in team 4. But we were second! After, we had to search the information about flag day and the history of our flag on the net. During this time, the rest of the group was painting the flag. Our flags are that of Canada and New-Zealand. (Joanna and Dave came from Canada ^^)
Thursday was the best day of the week. We went to Paris, And I love paris!!!!!!!!
At first we went to the exhibition of Andy Warhol, the best artist of the world. We split in four groups. I was with Dave. After the exhibition, I bought two post cards with a representation of Andy's pieces. They are beautiful!!!!
Then, we ate. It was the worst food of the world. (I'm sorry for the cooks :s) For example, the " taboulé' was very dry.... . After we returned to Grand Palais to find the Laura's phone. She was very lucky because a child brought it back to the reception desk. Then, with the natives, we went to the space invaders to find the places that the teachers asked us to find. it missed us one photo. It's too bad! For finish this day, we went to visit Beaubourg. The guide, an english guide of courses, spoke us about Matisse and Brancusi. It was very boring! At 6 p.m. the guide went quickly. Then we got in the bus and we ate in , because we haden't time for dinner out. When we arrived, the warders bought for us sweets and drink. It was very nice, and it was a totaly surprise ! After, I played werewolf with my friends, and exceptionnaly, we had more time before the curfew. At 11:30, I went to sleep, because i was tired.I spent a fantastic week with you, and I never will forget you ! I LOVE YOU <3 align="justify">Particularly, thanks for the natives, the warders and, of course, the teachers. I never will forget you too. Thank you very much.......

Thursday , we were in Paris . We arrived in the " grand palais " to 10.00 . am
First , we learned the story of andy warhol and the meaning of his paintings . After that we went to the exposition .
At 1.00 pm we ate in the park " Les tuileries " , then we did a treasure hunt where we had to find a cup of coffee , the M of the subway ... etc and finaly we visited " le centre Pompidou " , which is the second best comptemporary art museum in the world . Finally , we came back to school and we had a longer curfew on 11.30 pm fo the last night

A day in Paris

Yesterday, we went to Paris. It was again a great day like the other!!! We visited an exposition about Andy Warhol in the morning and during the afternoon we went to Beaubourg where we saw an exposition about comtemporary art in english. We arrived at school at nine o'clock thas why we have dinner in the bus!

We arrived in Paris at 11.00 a.m and we was going to the musuem of Andy warhol.First a woman explain to us his personality and his works,next we visited the musuem.At 2.00 p.m we ate to "Jardin des tuilleries" and before going to Beaubourg we done a little tour in Paris and we played to a game were it was take a lots of funny picture with my group directed by Joanna.After the game we visited "Pompidou" the works of Matisse.There was a good atmsphere during all visits and during the trip.

Yesterday, we were going to Paris to see the exhibition "The Big world of Andy Warhol": it was great! I love Andy Warhol's painting because he painted very well, we believed the paintings were like photographs! But it was only on the morning then on the afternoon, we were going to the Beaubourg ("Pompidou's center") and we had to take photographs of funnies situations : Scavenger Hunt in Paris ( we had to take photography of a pigeon with Joanna, our native for example). After, we visited Pompidou's center : there were paintings of Henri Matisse and Max Ernst, sculptures... However, the man who prensented the art spoke in English so it was difficult to understand him. It was a great day in Paris!

Thuersday 18 th

Yesterday, we went to Paris to see 2 exhibitions.
At first, in the morning, we went to "Grand Palais" and we saw Andy Warhol's paintings. He is a famous painter.
After, we ate in "Le parc des tuileries" with the natives.
In the afternoon, we went to "Beaubourg". With Johanna and team 1, we took photos of Paris (a cup of coffee, a native with a pigeon, a big red mouth with one person ...)
It was great !!
Then, we listened to a conference about Matisse's paintings, and other painters. It was interesting.
At the end of the day, we took the bus back to Rouen.

Yesterday, Thursday, June 19th, we went to Paris to see the exibition of Andy Warhol, take photos in the streets, and go to the Beaubourg museum.

It was a beautiful day because there was sun but cold, the painting of Andy Warhol were very famous, the lunch in the garden of the Tuileries was nice, the competition of photos was funny.
But no had a lot of time for visit the Beaubourg museum ...

The training was fantastic, and I congratulate the teachers and the natives because it was a fabulous week fulfilling culturelly and socially...

We left 8:30 a.m. from the high school, we arrived toward 11 a.m. of " Le Grand Palais" and we visited the exibition of Andy Warhol. In the first one a conference the woman explained the life of Warhol and his various realized works; in second we visited freely. At 2 p.m. we ate in " Le jardin des Tuileries". After lunch with the driver we visited Paris : The Effeil Tour, " L'assemblée National", " Le Palais des Congrès", " Le Champs de Mars", " Le Trocadero", " Le Musée du Louvres", " Le musée du Quai Branly" and " Les Invalides". We went in the neighborhood Pompidou for a game of track. After the games we visited the museum Pompidou with a guide in English for one group and in french for the other group. It was interesting and culturaly enriching. Finaly we arrived back at high school at 9:15 p.m.

Paris :D

Yesterday we went to Paris to see the exposition "Le grand monde d'Andy Warhol". At the beginning a guide explained us the signification of some of Warhol's paintings, then we could walk in the museum to see his famous paintings. We had lunch in a park : Le jardin des tuileries ; the weather was quite sunny but a little cold. In the afternoon, we were near Beaubourg and we took funny photos. Finally we saw some paintings in Beaubourg with a guide who spoke in English and we all understood ! It was a great day :D

Week in Semba

On Monday, we arrived and we met all new people by games.
On Tuesday, we cooked to make a tea party with cookies and scones and in the afternoon we ate in the park and we played basketball.
On Wednesday morning, we were playing theater when the journalists arrived to interview us. We were on television and on the radio.
On Thursday, we took the bus to go to Paris, we visited a museum of Andy Warhol and center Pompidou. We ate in the park " Les Tulliers" we took many photos, and Laura lost her mobile. When we came back, we ate, we laughed and we slept on the bus.
On Friday, the last day, we painted and we made a report. The natives look like stars because they made autographs.

Thursday, we had spent a very nice day in Paris. We had taken autobus at 8.30 AM. We had seen a first exhibition in le grand palais about Andy Warhol's portraits. His paints have lot of colors, they are very beautiful. At 12.00, we had had a pic-nic. We had eaten it in the jardin des tuileries. Afternoon, we had gone to Beaubourg and we played a games where we must take the funniest photos. After, wa had gone to Pompidou center to see an exhibition about women and modern art. The visit had been in English. It had been a very great day !!

Yesterday it was Thursday june 18th and we went to Paris.
We visited "Le Grand Palais" museum and we saw the Andy Warhol exposition.
After we went to have lunch in "Le jardin des Tuileries" it was relaxing.

After we went to the "Centre Pompidou"museum In Beaubourg to visit the female art exposition. the museum was cool

Yersteday, we were in Paris. We visited the Andy Warhol exposition in "The Grand Palais". It's so beautiful and we love it.

After we ate in the Parc des Tuileries and we went trought Paris and we did a "rally photo". It was so funny!!

At the end, we went in Pompidou museum. It was Amazing!

Tuesday 18th

Yesterday we were in Paris to see two expositions.
In the morning we saw an Andy Warhol's exhibition. His paintings were very interesting.
We had lunch in the Grand Palais.
In the afternoon we went to Pompidou to see the theme of the women art. After lunch we had a photo competition in Beaubourg, we should take funny pictures and the group who had take the funniest are the winner.
The day was very good and we spent good time together.

Yesterday morning, we went to the Grand Palais in Paris to see an exibition of Andy Warhol's portraits. We learnt that A.Warhol was a famous artist who created the pop art, an art with lot of colours. At the mid-day we had lunch on the Parc des Tuileries where we ate tuna with mayonnaise, taboulet etc...After that we went to Centre Pompidou museum . We did a photo compétition in which we had to find different things around the museum and take them in photo. It was fun but we were late. then we went to the museum where we saw lots of moderns wroughts. I found that very interesting! After that, we came back to Marcel Semba in car.

Yesterday,we were in Paris!!! In the morning,we visited "le grand palais",it's an art museum we saw all the portraits done by andy warohld. His paintings are very original and colorfull. It was very good. After we ate in "palais des tuileries". We ate tuna and a salad with a fruit dessert.
In the afternoon,we visited the museum of "Georges Pompidou"it was very Extraordinary.The guide explained to us very well and the works we saw were wonderfull! Even better than the previous ones.
The photo rally was funny and amusing. We took a picture of the native with a pigeon and the photo was very funny to us.After we come back to school in the bus.
This day, we learn about pop art, they use many colors and the paintors express their feelings and their knowledge through their work.

Yesterday we were at Paris. In the morning we saw the exposition of Andy Warhol in "The Grand palais". We had lunch in "The jardin des Tiulieries". In Pompidou we see the "musée national d'art moderne". The photo competition was about to take photos of places of Paris, it was very good. Yesterday it was a very good day. It was very intresting. A day in Paris !!

On June 18th, we travelled to Paris by bus. It was a bit cloudy, but it didn't prevent us from visiting some exhibitions !! We first went to the Grand Palais to gather some information about Andy Warhol, the well-known pop art painter. After listening to a little presentation, we saw some of his masterpieces (including some portraits, a dollar sign and a Coca-Cola bottle). Then we had lunch in the "Jardin des Tuileries", and we headed to the Centre Pompidou, but before entering there, we were thrown into Paris' streets to take funny photos : a space invader, a cup of coffee, a mouth on water... The themes of Beaubourg's exhibition were varied as it was about pop art, modern painters and the place of women in art. Our guide was great : indeed, he explained us some interesting things about the works, which were all very beautiful even if they could be shocking sometimes. Finally, we returned to the bus, which took us back to Marcel SEMBAT, and we fell asleep thinking of all we had seen.

Yesterday we were in Paris at an exposition of Andy Warhol in the "Grand Palais" the morning. Before visiting the exposition we had a conference about Andy Wahrol. Then we had lund in the garden of Tuilleries next to the Louvre. After having lunch we went to Georges Pompidou and organized a little hunt in Paris. We had to take a picture of a velib , a big red mouth , the city hall and a metro sign. In the center Goerges Pompidou we saw paintings of famous painters like Salvadore Dali and Pablo Picasso and more.

Journey in Paris

Yesterday, the 18th June, we were in Paris to visit two museums.
In the morning, we were in "Le grand palais" to see a very interesting exposition about Andy Warhol. We saw first diapositives of some works with comments of a women. After we saw the exhibition. At two o'clok we ate in the garden of the "palais des tuileries" and we went near the museum "Georges Pompidou" to play at a little game. We had, per groups, to make some photos with some monuments or funny things. It had to be funny pictures. At half past three we went into the museum "Georges Pompidou" to visit an exhibition about the place of women in art, in two groups. It was very interesting too ! Finaly the journey was about pop art, with many colors and ways of expression. Before to come back to Sotteville, we visited a little bit Paris.
I really liked this day :)

Yesterday, one day in Paris. We visited Andy warhol's exposition. He is a painter and his paintings were very interesting and funny. We had lunch in the "parc des tuileries, grand palais. In the afternoon, we had a competion of pitures which was funny !!! It's very very funny!! After we saw expotition of wommen's art. The day was very cool and interesting but at night everybody was tired!!!

Hello!!
On Monday we played an "ice breaker" game and lots of other games as to know one another . I was tired but I spent a good time . The 4 natives ( Joanna, Janna, David and Lilly) are very interesting because they speak English with the real accent of an English speaking country. It was fun to speak with them!
When I arrived, I didn't know at all what we would do, so the teachers gave us the programme of the week . I was very happy because it was interesting, especially the visit in Paris on Thursday.
I hope that during this week I will improve my English.

The language training is very interesting , Monday 15th june, is the first day at the hight-school " Marcel Sambat" we were played ice breaking and speed meeting .

I love everybody and i am happy . My friends is very cool and the native speakers to. We speak with them the travels, the familly, the money of the differents contry, the series of TV is very funny. The language training is too short. I wish it could last longer.

First day

Yesterday, the 15th June, we arrived at Marcel Samba at 10 o'clock. We began the games, for exemple "the ice breakers" where we changed our shoes.
The afternoon, we played "killer", but we were very hungry and tired.
The native speakers were very nice and when they spoke english we understood a little but it was difficult to answer them.
We mte a lot of people and we talked a little with them.
Morning was good because we met new people whereas during afternoon, games were boring.

The night we went in the dormitory. And after we slept.
I though this day was interesting.

Monday was the first day,that's why i can't say what i like or not,but navtives speakers are nice and cool.I met a lot of nice people.I love my room,i'm happy because i'm with my friends.We have fun together and before sleeping we had speaking and laugh a lot with persons of other rooms.It's the moment i prefer.
Yesterday i was speak with Jiana ,a native speaker,she's very nice and funny.

Our first day

On June 15th, we arrived at 10 o'clock at Lycée Marcel SEMBAT, all shy and nervous... We began the day with ice-breakers : we exchanged our shoes and everyone had to talk to another person. It was funny, but we quickly became hungry and tired, so we headed to the canteen to have a well-deserved lunch ! Then in the afternoon, we played other games, like "The killer", with the four natives. Every one of them has a different personality, but all were very nice and cool with us, and even if we didn't understand all what they said (Dave and Johanna, the Canadians, have a rather rough accent), we tried to talk to them. Finally, we went to the newly-constructed boarding room and slept there.

Yesterday, we made ice breakers to met and chat with new people. We played to a little game by exchanging shoes. Next, after having lunch we played to werewolves and the killer. The killer is a game with a killer and detectives. The killer must kill people by making a sign and the detectives must search the killer.

First day

Yesterday, at 10 a.m, we arrived at the High School. we began introducing each other and then we played games. At 12 a.m, we had lunch. Next we played games again before going to our bedroom. We had played the killer and the werewolf. After , we had dinner and then we watched a film "Into the wild". During that day I had met a lot of people. I licked to play werewolf, I think it's a good game. This morning, I enjoyed to have an English breakfast with bacon and toast. Last morning, we introduced ourselves playing games. We had to learn information about our partner and then introduced him in front of all the people. Yesterday, at lunch we ate fish and chips. At dinner wa ate chiken and rice. Last night we fell asleep late because we spoke a lot. Finaly, I had a good day yesterday. I'm happy to be here.

Yesterday, I arrived early, at 9.30 a.m., because I didn't have the good time on my letter. I remember that I thought that the people who were already there weren't nice and they xere a closed group. But, with the different activities organised by natives, I changed my mind about them. The activities were funny. During the rest of the day, we playes "Le fluide" by Simon, killer, werewolf, maestro, ect... When it was 6 p.m., we had to go to school residence to put our luggage. After, we ate in the dinning-room. And we had spent evening with the friends we had met. I watched a film with Loick and Nicolas and I played Nintendo DS with Loick. And when the teachers told us to go to sleep, I had to return in my bedroom, where Julie and Roxanne were reading a book. Then Doriane arrived, and I slept.

Yesterday, we met different people , and we introduce ourselves in front of the class . We played "the killer", "claping game" and "werewolf". After that , we went to the bed room at 6 o'clock . At night , we played , or watched a movie. At 10:00 pm we had to go sleep.

Yesterday, we met the natives and we introduced each other.We played games :"play werewolves","killers and detectives".On small groups for more participation than before. After the dinner we watched a movie,played games and stayed in the bedroom. Yesterday morning;the speed-meeting was good because we met two canadians,a chinese and a mexican but in the afternoon the games were exhausting,long and alike.

Yesterday, we did many activities as the ice-breakers, activities with shoes, syllable's games.
We introduced ourselves. We played werewolves game, killer and clapping game.
At first, in thr morning, the games were good but in the afternoon it was boring because we did always the same.
The bedrooms are good.
The teachers are good and the natives are interesting.
In the evening, we chose between watching a movie or playing different games.
It was great.
Now, we know people and we can talk with them more easily.

1st day in region langue

Yesterday morning I wasn't here because I was in my "conseil de classe" but in the afternoon,we played games until dinner time.There are four students,2 canadians(Dave and Joanna),a chineese girl(Jian),a mexican girl(Lily).What else can I say,we're speaking only in english with them,every activity is explained in english.Mrs Lozano and Chodzko are here to help us.After dinner,we went to the room and slept on the school residence.

Yesterday the 15th of June, in the morning , we arrived at Marcel Sembat school at 10 o'clock. It was cloudy.
We began the games with ice-breakers where we echanged our shoes ans we had to present our parteners.
We visited the school which is very big.
In the afternoon we played a game: The killers.

We liked the morning because we met friends.
We didn't like the evening because it was boring and we were very tired and hungry.
We didn't understand every thing because the teachers spocke quickly but we tried, the teaches are very interesting.
We met a lot of people who were very cool.
The food is good because we had a lot of choice.

Yesterday, the 15th of June, we arrived at the lycee Marcel Sembat at 10.o clock. The weather was rainy and cloudy. We began with games, for example the "ice-breaker" : we exchanged our shoes and we had to present our partner. We visited the lycee and went to the cantine to eat fish-and-chips.
In the afternoon, we played a game : the killer. It was funny but we were a little hungry.

This day was great because we met many people and the native speakers were nice. So were the teachers. At the beginning, that was funny because we could speak in English but we didn't understand everything, we made an effort. We laughed a lot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello!
Yesterday morning we played an "ice breaking" game and lots of other games as to know one anoter. I have had a good time but at the end of the day, I was tired. I think the presence of the 3 natives (Joanna, David and Lilly) is motivating because we can speak with tem and tey have the real accent of an English speaking country. It's fun!
When I was coming, I didn't know what we would do. So teachers gave us the programme and then, we discovered the organisation of our week . I was happy because the programme was very interesting especially the visit in Paris on thursday! I'm a bit tired but exited. I hope I will improve my english!

The first day

It was nice to meet the natives and the others persons; there are four natives:Dave and Johanna who come from Canada, Lilly who comes from Mexico and Jianna who comes from China.
In the morning, we did some ice-breakers and speed-meeting.
In the afternoon, we played lots of games like "werewolf" and "the killer".
In the evening, we could watch a movie or play games: we played cards.
At eleven o'clock, we had to go to bed...

I arrived for camp. We introduced. I was lonely and sleeping. Them we play games and saw a movie.

During the first day , we met the teachers , Mrs Chodzko and Mrs Lozano , and we met the natives too ( David alias Dave and Joanna , two Canadians. There is Jiana too , a Chinese girl , she is very nice with us .And there is Lily , a mexican girl but we don't see her very often . In the morning , we played games , like speed-meeting and ice-breakers , a sort of games to learn to know each other. In the afternoon , we made little plays in which had to introduce a mobile phone. After we played again games , like the leader and the killer and the werewoflves. After we went to the schoolresidence.

Yesterday morning we did many activities. First we had a meeting with the headmaster and we played to the game of ice-breaker to present us. And after we played at games in little groups with the ntives. In the afternoon we continued the games for example : we played to the killer and the werewolves. We ate at 7.00 o'clock and we watched movie and played games in the evening. We enjoyed about the good ambiance in the english group but it was exhaustive because we stayed a long time in the same room and we played too much time.

Yesterday, for the first day, we met some new people. There are 4 natives : Dave and Johana who are Canadian. Moreover, Lily is a mexicain girl and Jhana who is from China. We played at lot of games, like werewolf, a killer or "Chef d'orchestre". It was very funny. After, we discovered our Bedrooms which are beautiful. After dinner, we did what we wanted. It was a good day.
